| This scenario is intended to help you prepare for the upcoming “User Needs Analysis” assignment. Your task is simple: do some searching to find resources that can be useful to you when you write about the technology needs and characteristics of undergraduate students in an IT-related field. I recommend searching in three places: Google, ( I recommend just using this and Google Scholar) The database Library Literature and Information Full Text (available via the FSU library website), and The ERIC database (also via the FSU library website). Write a very brief (no more than a single-spaced page) document summarizing the results of your searches, including: A brief introduction to provide context for what follows; A list of the five best resources you have found, full citations; One or two sentence annotations for each resource, providing an indication of what kinds of information the resource includes; and A brief ending paragraph, summarizing how your five resources might be useful when you write the User Needs Analysis assignment. |
