Integrating Faith And Work

I am uploading a copy of the PDF book that I used for this class, this book was also used for this class Title: Mastering Monday: A guide to integrating faith and work (1st ed.). Author(s): Beckett, J.D ISBN 13: ISBN 978-0-8308-3385-6 Edition/Year Published: 2006 I will also include the 2 power point projects that were used for this class so that it will help you develop a theme and keep things flowing for the paper. I have provided limited details about my career and about my life in this class because it is such a short class and to also aid in helping it make it easier for someone to help me with the extra course load. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me and thank you for your help. You will submit a 10-11-page paper addressing the following elements, each within its own section: Section One (please develop an appropriate section heading of five or fewer words) Select one leader used in your power point presentation that you could use as a role model. Identify and discuss key elements of his or her life that inspire you to more fully integrate faith and work. 1 to 1 ½ pages. Select one Christian leader with whom you are familiar. Identify key elements from their life that indicate to you they integrate their faith into their work. Include a discussion of their example motivates you. 1 to 1 ½ pages Explain what you learned by considering Becketts assessment of his own integration of faith into his workplace. Include a discussion of how his example might provide motivation. 1 to 1 ½ pages Section Two (Pleased develop an appropriate section heading of fewer than 5 words) Identify and describe at least four personal core values. Evaluate those values in light of faith and work. Explain which of those values correlate to the integration of faith and work. 1 Page Complete a spiritual inventory similar to the one Henry Blackaby suggested to Beckett. The inventory can be found in chapter 12 of the textbook. 1 ½ – 2 ½ pages Based on these two inventories, critically evaluate your current level of faith and work integration. In what ways are these two areas integrated and in what ways do they appear to be distinct (or even in conflict)? 1 – 2 pages. Section Three Conclude with a summary of how this course has contributed to the intentional integration of faith and work, and ultimately, the advancement of God’s Kingdom within your sphere of influence. Include specific plans of how you will integrate your faith into your work environment. This paper provides an opportunity for you to assess the extent to which the course objectives have been addressed. In developing your response to each element, you must convey your comprehension and application of the concepts offered by Beckett (2006) and Johnson (2001). Your paper must demonstrate that you have been equipped to evaluate and adjust the integration of faith and work, while recognizing implications for career progression. Provide your responses in an MS Word or PDF-formatted document, using detailed headings to differentiate each section, as well as subheadings to address minor points within the respective sections. The paper should be formatted as a double-spaced document with a title page, per APA Guidelines. Although the length of the paper may vary based on formatting (such as using tables or lists for some parts), the minimum requirement is 10 pages of narrative content (not including title page, abstract, references, or exhibits). In developing your paper, you must leverage at least five sources, three of which must be from scholarly, peer-reviewed publications. Although you are encouraged to conduct supplemental research, you must include the assigned readings as sources.
