Please write a short sentences/paragraph to answer the following question as a discussion post? Also, ask a question that could be asked from this discussion and included as a question? 1-So after and listening to the lecture I’d like to know how many of you feel like you fall in the Deonotology background? An how many feel like they are more on the Consquentail background? As closely related as they are I can certainly understand the difference but see myself floating the line depending on the topic at hand. Like I would personally float one the consequential line to say if there was a mother who was about to deliver a baby but it would risk her life to do so. I could see that the greater good here would defiantly be for all involved to save the mother. But I could also use that same topic and see how I could look and see and try my hardest to look for other options that would save them both. It definitely a hard call. In theory, though I think,y heart lies on the Deonotology side more. 2-How does occasionally performing immoral acts effect those who look up to someone/ are looked up to and considered very noble and honest people? Just thinking about kids who look up to their idols and that person may do something very bad or it may be projected to look worse than what they actually did and how that correlates back to Virtue Ethics. 3- How does occasionally performing immoral acts effect those who look up to someone/ are looked up to and considered very noble and honest people? Would it play part in the previous topic of euthanization of humans? I think that also goes back to utilitarianism with choosing a consequence with less pain.
