Welcome to the third creative writing workshop of the semester! During Week 6, I asked you to consider the role of tone in poetry and to write an original “how to” poem about subject matter that you know well. To get started, you should post your 20+ line “how to” poem. As a friendly reminder, your poem should be titled “How to (fill in the blank with your subject matter),” should address the reader using the pronoun “you,” and it should not rhyme. You are required to provide feedback on the “how to” poems of at least two of your classmates. I strongly encourage you to use the Peer Review Worksheet Preview the document as you offer constructive criticism. Please be sure to address your posts to the intended recipients. I look forward to reading your feedback.
