| Welcome to the Week 6 discussion board! This week I’d like you to discuss the assigned “how to” poems and also share your any potential topics you’re considering for your original “how to” poem. I have some questions to get us started. 1. Choose one of the assigned “how to” poems. How would you describe the tone (the speaker’s attitude toward the subject matter) of the poem? If you chose one of the Fanny poems, what did you learn about her? Do you like the poem? Why or why not? 2. If it’s helpful to you, I invite you to share any potential topics you’re considering for your original “how to” poem. As with many creative writing assignments, selection of an appropriate topic plays an important role in the writing process. * Since I’d like you to focus on participating in the writing workshop and on writing a draft of your original “how to” poem this week, you are only required to write one post this week.
