Kris Watson: Male, 52, Head chef and first mate. Habitual gambler and womanizer. Has worked for the captain for 11 years to supports his family of 7
Kelly Wilson: Female, 22, High school dropout and on welfare. Drug addict and alcoholic. Daughter of the captain and is pregnant, on ship to clean up her act
Shannon Thompson: Female, 7, Not in school because of her health. Has terminal cancer and an infection. On the ship as part of the Make a Wish foundation
Kristin Wilson: Female, 77, Retired teacher, works as a bible school teacher. Relatively good health given age. Mother of the captain, widow, 5 children, 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren
Susan Swanson: Female, 23, Stripper, working her way through college. Good health. No relation to anyone on the ship, her boyfriend is home waiting for her return
